About Us
Why Dragon Glass?
I originally hail from Wales, the land of sheep, leeks and dragons! It's even on our national flag. It also reflects the intense heat of the process of glass fusing and just a little of my fiery personality. I love the combination of art and science involved with glass fusing and the individual nature of each piece. I make pieces that are sure to turn heads, with clean lines and bold colors.
When I'm not playing with heat and glass I love spending time in the outdoors in beautiful Colorado with my husband, our amazing kiddo and our rescue doggie.

Ex-Materials Science Engineer turned glass artist - how did that happen?!
I got hooked on glass fusing a few years ago and I have loved turning my addictive hobby into a business! I love to create bold, unique, but affordable pieces. Glass jewelry is so distinctive. I love the way it looks different depending on the light and direction.
I have a studio at my home where I create my pieces, I love that I can keep my creativity and family close by. We live in beautiful Black Forest, Colorado and I am amazed everyday that the view from my studio window is of a tree-framed Pikes Peak.

Dichroic Glass Supply

When I first started glass fusing as a hobby, I struggled to find quality dichroic glass supplies, in small quantities, but where I knew exactly how it looked once fired. Recognizing others might have the same problem, I now sell small sample packs and pieces of some of my favorite dichroic glasses for others to purchase for their own creations. All the glass I sell is 90 COE (never mix COEs of glasses).
Online Shopping
I currently sell my creations through my Etsy store. Etsy offers an excellent shopping experience, with secure checkout, order tracking and a super easy-to-navigate website. Etsy is also the world's largest handmade and artisan marketplace, with millions of listings to browse.
